When runing the old two post battery system, they recommend that you resistor the following components using our step-down voltage resistor only if the component is not listed as 16 volt compatible by its manufacturer:
1: Transbrake
2: Delay Box
3: Timers
4: Throttle Stops
5: Some Cooling fan motors
Important Info
TheV recommends that all components withing the car be wired with no smaller than 10 gauge wire. 16 volts can possibly melt the insulation off wires thinner than 10 gauge.
